#224 - Everskill Design Kitchen Cabinet sucks!

Aku sebenarnya malas nak blog psl kc aku ni. tapi sbb sekarang diaorg ni dah mencabar kesabaran kitaorg, so aku dah tak pedulik dah. biar org baca n tau camne 'bagus'nya servis diaorg ni.

* moral of the story - semua plan n deal yg dibuat dgn contractor, kena ada black n white. jgn percaya dgn borak2 kosong je. kena tulis, capture gambar, print screen or anything. so one day kalau ada pape problem, kita ada proof.

a lengthy post ahead.....

so, aku dah lama tau psl everskill ni. ada few bloggers amik diaorg. showroom dia pun dkt je dgn rumah lama kitaorg, so diaorg one of our choices lah utk buat kc.

kitaorg gi modern home expo kat midvalley. lps survey2 few booths, kitaorg decide nak book dgn everskill. masa tu jumpa gordon. byr rm100 for booking n dpt voucher rm500 n few free gifts.



fast forward after that, kitaorg pun dah start reno rumah. so panggil gordon dtg rumah buat measurement, design kc, bg quotation. time ni jugak kitaorg confirm sekali nak buat tv cabinet n divider antara hall & dining.

so few weeks after that, mmg ada la email2 dgn gordon psl design n quotation semua. everything was fine.. gordon pun dah tanda2 kat wall kat dapur kat mana nak tambah plug, kat mana kat hack buat lubang utk hood. he even said yg contractor kitaorg slow sbb tak hack2 lg dinding! pftttt


ni masa gordon dtg rumah nak discuss psl hacking dgn ah po, contractor kitaorg


tiba2 bape hari lps tu gordon MIA. ada sekali dia janji nak dtg rumah, dia tak dtg even kitaorg dh tunggu. call, sms tak dpt. kitaorg pegi showroom kat equine cari dia. gordon dari branch setia alam btw, tp sbb jauh sgt kitaorg gi kat equine je. diaorg pun kata tatau mana gordon, tp they were helpful la. n janji nak contact balik once tau mana gordon pegi.

rupa2nya gordon resigned! so masa ni kitaorg okay lagi. everskill contact kata nick puk (branch setia alam jugak) akan take over. so start balik from scratch. buat appointment dgn nick soh dia dtg rumah. sbb bz sgt, terpaksa dia dtg kul 9pm. habis discuss kul 11 lebih mlm. nick dtg sekali dgn sim, from equine nye branch. bear in mind, masa ni kitaorg pun x pindah sana lagi. so terpaksa ulang alik kc punya psl.

masa ni kitaorg confirmkan betul ke apa yg gordon dh tanda kat wall ni sume ni. bleh proceed dgn hacking tak. nick kata okay, proceed je.. dah betul dah tu...

turns out after that dah hacking semua, rupanya lubang hood tu salah! tempat plug pun salah! nak kena relocate balik tempat plug tu. sape byr contractor utk relocate? kitaorg jugakkkk...

sbb dinding tu dah buruk sbb ada kesan relocate sume, so kena buat backsplash. tp yg lawak, nick taknak masukkan charge backsplash dlm quotation. dia kata dia bg contact no contractor backsplash, kitaorg deal sendiri. hampeh betul.

kitaorg gi setia alam. nak confirm design. masa ni tak puas hati sebenarnye apesal 3d design diaorg ni tak penahnye betul? nick salahkan designer la, ape la. whatever, kitaorg nak design 3d yg betul!

ni 3d design yg nick bg. nampak tak dia edit2 je dr gambar yg lama?
so unprofessional!


tp masa ni, nick tunjuk measurement plan. yg tu kitaorg puas hati. so terus confirm, kena byr 50% of total amount. okay, proceed.... tapi still remind nick utk email 3d design. sampai ke sudah tak dpt... pfttttttt





 
 
everskill nye policy, 50% payment upon confirmation, 40% masa tgh install, n tinggal balance 10% je lg byr bila sume dh siap n puas hati. 
 

bila dia suruh byr, kitaorg byr je. psl duit mmg diaorg cpt je...
resit yg bwh sekali tu kitaorg kena add lagi utk backsplash..

start installation. mula2 psg cabinet dulu. aku tak cuti, KH yg cuti. so dia pegi tgk..

hari kitaorg pindah. aku x dpt cuti gak harini. KH yg uruskan pindah semua. n everskill dtg psg pintu kc n siapkan kerja2 lain. except table top. tu installer lain kena dtg lain hari. masa ni dah perasan, byk defect masa installation. kat pintu, kat divider, even tv cabinet wrong measurement!!



tgk tu.. kalau psl payment.. cpt je diaorg mintak.
selagi tak byr, selagi tu dia tanya..

installer table top dtg. salah measurement pulakk!!! lubang utk hob utk kecik so hob tak muat. so, takleh pasang... pfttt

masa ni kitaorg dah start hangen. apahal semua nye silap ni? dahla kalau janji nak dtg umah, tak penah punctual. kitaorg amik cuti, rushing2 balik keja sume sekali diaorg tak dtg or cancel appointment.

aku amik cuti. sbb installer hood, table top n pintu kc nak dtg. tp pagi tu installer hood je dtg. yg lain cancel. kata esok pulak diaorg nak dtg.






installer tu tgk lubang hood yg salah tu, dia kata dia boleh setelkan. tp terpaksa potong sikit dinding dlm kc kitaorg tu. so, kalau bukak pintu kc, mmg nampak buruk la.. redha jelah sbb dia x nampak dr luar.

KH lak amik cuti. diaorg dtg psg table top n betulkan pintu. settle. tapi tgk finishing mmg out. pintu kc tu tepi2 menggerutu sana sini. cutting tak cantik. obvious je nampak. complain lagi......

so start lah kitaorg amik gambar setiap defect n email kat everskill. no reply.

masa ni kitaorg bengang gila. boleh nick msg mintak balance payment yg lg 10% tu sbb sales dia tak cukup lg bulan ni? keja sucks gila pastu has the gut utk mintak kitaorg settlekan semua payment??

sbb dah geram sgt. aku contact office everkill mintak phone no manager. diaorg bg no jims. so terus aku call jims tu. dia suruh fwd balik email yg ada gambar2 tu semua. pastu dia kata nak dtg rumah n tgk sendiri.

installer dtg bukak balik pintu yg ada defect. tp tak semua. kitaorg kata ni byk lg defect ni, kenapa tak bukak? dia kata dia dpt arahan bukak yg bawah ni je. pastu dia trus blah. hoih bengang.

jims dtg dgn nick. lambat 1 jam. dahla rushing dr ofis. puasa lak tu. grrrrrrr

jims mmg kata very poor workmanship. dia suruh nick bukak balik semua pintu2 yg ada defect. n kata 5 july akan dtg repairkan apa yg boleh.

jims pun janji nak tolong kitaorg cari contractor utk backsplash.

kitaorg bg deadline sampai 20 july utk everything's okay. 2 minggu lebih tu, pandai2 korang lah nak dtg bape kali pun. asalkan 20hb tu setel sume.

jims kata "i promise. u mark my word".

mintak payment utk backsplash pulak. soh byr in full lak tu.
dgn alasan, backsplash tu diaorg terpaksa outsource dr luar.

dia kata nak dtg psg backsplash harini (rabu 23 july). tapi smlm dia kata tak boleh pulak. penatnya la asyik cancel je kenapa. sebelum janji tu boleh tak confirmkan bebetul???

yg pintu sume dia nak betulkan 26 july. hoihhh tak reti org nak balik kg raya ke? bengang gilaaaaa

lg best diaorg delete post2 kitaorg tu. pastu smlm KH on phone with jims. jims kata he wasn't very happy when he read the fb posts. ko sorg je tak happy? kitaorg yg dh bape bulan bengang ni ko tak kira? dahla dapur tu tak properly kemas since pindah haritu. yela, kang aku kemas, letak brg2 dlm kc kang, berhabuk balik.

drpd sebelum pindah, sampai pindah, sebelum puasa, dh nak raya, smpi lps raya ni kc aku tak settle2! payment dh buat 90%! sape tak bengang hoiiii.....

n lagi besttt.. harini diaorg mintak kunci rumah aku sbb nanti nak buat keja masa kitaorg takde kat rumah. KORANG NI BIAR BETUL? KITAORG DAH MOVE IN DAH.. MANUSIA MANA YG BIJAK SGT BG KUNCI UMAH UTK CONTRACTOR BUAT KEJA???

so itulah update setakat harini... i know some of u ada yg dah book everskill.. kitaorg ckp, maybe kitaorg dpt sales person yg tak bagus.. sbb dia asyik bg janji manis n tak properly check defect before dtg. up to u all lah... sbb ade je org yg satisfied with their services.

tapi, kalau tanya kitaorg, nak recommend everskill tak pd org lain. hell nooo... not worth the money la... penat.. annual leave pon habis sbb diaorg. weekend pon wasted. sakit hati lagi.. i'd rather pay higher tapi puas hati. drpd byr murah pastu sakit hati camni. tanak amik risk camni lagi dah.

menyesal. menyesal sgt amik everskill.

oh.. baca ur story ni teringat masa kitorang buat kc & built in wardrobe dgn everskill.. bertukar 3 org pic since Ogos 2013 and finally siap mei 2014.. memang dah angin sebab setiap kali tukar pic maksudnye all the measurement kena buat from start balik.. nasib baik pic yang last skali, vincent tu ok la jugak daripada yg sebelum2 tu and i sound banyak kali jgn resign sebelum siap kerja.. tapi kisah u ni mmg boleh menjadi raksasa gorgon la.. better tukar je kontraktor.. rasanye everskill ni dah ramai yg gune and tu pasal servis pon dah x bagus mcm awal2 dulu..

i wish I knew it in advance but it's too late. pricing comparison during exhibition (kat KLCC convention recently) memang Nampak murah bagai and berbaloi. Even service pun time tuh memang tip top la, cakap sangat menyakinkan. Bila tang duit seriously nak cepat tapi actual services lousy. Slow, lembab, salah measurement, etc. sales person gave too many excuses pastu salahkan installer. But lesson learned. Apa2 pun through my experience Everskill memang lousy!!!! since we ols dah amik, hadap jelah.

Tq 4 for this entry...i went o everskill equien few weeks ago....i told then my friend ade install their kc gune servis everskill ...the he asked me whether my friend ade komplen ape2 tak...i replied so far takde....so now baru i realise they why asked me that kind of question....syukur2..

Nak tambah comment. Dia punya servis memang "boleh". Sms banyak kali baru reply sekali. Paling tak suka orang sales yang macam ni.

Haishh..lebih kurang kes kita. Dpt sales design yg bongok. Now ni after a year i bersabar dgn design bodoh tu, suddenly da x leh sabar da. Ur kc mcm mana? Da setel ke? Kes i ni x tau nk buat mcm mana..lg pon da hampir setahun pasang. Then, payment semua da langsai. Sms history dgn sales person dulu pon da x de. Huwaaa...tak sanggup lg nk bertahan ngn kc gitu.

I have to same problem with Everskill. I signed a package worth RM17,0000 for my kitchen set but kena tipu. Itu sink plumbing tak masuk installation. Gila betul! Firstly hood exhaust tambah 6 kaki saja mesti buat sendiri. Ambil 2 minggu baru siap. Itu cabinets papan tak sampai setangah inci lebah. Teruk....! Saya marah teruk sama itu salesman nama Daniel Low. Dia selalu munkir janji. Never turns on appointment. Sakit, balik kampung, accident.. Macam, macam alasan saja.
Sorry, never recommends Everskill again.
